Transport Administrator /Coordinator

Location: Guildford

Salary: £35K-£45k depending on experience

My client: Integrated recycling, waste management and aggregates business, servicing a wide range of commercial and domestic customers, strong logistical and operational services, growing year on year.

The Role: My client is looking for an individual that has ideally come from a Transport background with a strong background in organisation and administration:

• Check vehicle defect

• Getting prices from suppliers for any parts needed

• Keeping check on stock levels of cleaning items and consumables

• Taking deliveries and putting away in stores if required

• General cleaning of the stores

• Assisting with any issues with the dustcart drivers

• Sending off the Risk Assessments

• Issuing uniform to drivers

• Covering the downloading of the security baton

• Using vans to pick up parts/reverse assistants

• Issuing approved holiday forms and filing away

• De-Brief dustcart drivers when needed

The ideal Candidate: A brilliant communicator, an individual that can make things happen and follow through as well as keeping individuals informed. You will have to be very organised, enjoy working in a small team that is always on the go.
