We are currently looking for a SEN teaching assistant to join a large primary school in Waltham Forest to support pupil in year 3 with Downs Syndrome.
The Role
In this role you will be the Learning Support Assistant for a pupil in year 3 with Downs Syndrome on a 1 to 1 basis throughout all classes. The child requires support to access learning in the classroom and integrate with their peers. You will work closely with the class teacher, the inclusion manager and with wider support teams. You will be included in support review meetings and have daily contact with the parents to provide feedback. You will be provided with training and support from the school's SEND coordinator.
To apply for this Learning Support Assistant role you must have experience working with Downs Syndrome and experience working in a school setting.
This role is offered on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.
