Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals? We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Project Assistant to join a Housing Association in Guildford, providing vital support to individuals in need of housing assistance.

THE ROLE
As a Housing Project Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering housing management and support services to vulnerable clients, ensuring a professional and supportive approach at all times.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing advice and assistance.
  • Assist with tenancy agreements, rent collection, and housing-related support.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Support clients in achieving their personalised support outcomes.
  • Report and address maintenance issues and anti-social behaviour concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to support clients needs.
  • Participate in shift rota, including weekends, to provide continuous support.

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, particularly working with vulnerable individuals in a housing or social care setting.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups.
  • Knowledge of housing management and tenancy-related support.
  • Ability to use IT systems for record-keeping and support planning.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness of safeguarding, equality, and diversity in housing services.

THE CONTRACT
Shifts are as per rota:
  • Early: 7:45am - 3:45pm
  • Late: 12:15pm - 8:15pm
  • Weekends: 8:00am - 8:00pm
3-Month Contract, potential temp-to-perm
Pay Rate: £14.73 per hour LTD / £12.56 per hour PAYE (inc holiday)
