HR Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support our Director of People in delivering a comprehensive generalist HR service to our staff and partners. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR department.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Amend job descriptions and specifications as needed.
  • Upload signed contracts of employment, recruitment documents, appraisals, and other personnel documents to employee files and the HR database.
  • Chase signed induction documents and handle work experience requests and unsolicited approaches for employment.
  • Issue contract variations and confirm staff in post upon satisfactory completion of their probationary period.
  • Place recruitment ads on Indeed or other relevant media.
  • Screen initial job applications and send rejection letters to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Gather and collate diversity information.
  • Take up references and manage all on-boarding tasks.
  • Notify applicable departments of new starters, leavers, and movers.
  • Update the HR database regularly.
  • Undertake project work as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A-Level educated, ideally to graduate standard.
  • Demonstrable experience in administration within an office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and numeracy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Initiative and the ability to plan, organise, and co-ordinate matters.
  • A CIPD qualification may be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Previous HR Administration experience and prior HR database maintenance skills are preferable but not essential.
