Payload System Engineer required for a computing systems provider for space satelitles and telecommunications based in Guildford. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with systems engineering related to RF payloads, satellite communication, and/or digital payloads.
Payload System Engineer Job Overview
- Design, analyse, and optimize payload systems for satellite communication, including RF systems, antennas, transponders, and onboard processing units.
- Ensure successful delivery of space communication systems throughout the entire program lifecycle
- Define payload architecture and ensure alignment with company objectives and customer requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate payload systems into the satellite platform
Payload System Engineer Job Requirements
- Systems engineering experience related role to RF payloads, satellite communication, and/or digital payloads.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree
- Experience working with on-board digital payloads and/or processors
Payload System Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £80,000- £100,000 (dependent on skillset and experience)
- Matching pension contributions up to a maximum of 5% per month.
- Holiday entitlement - 34 days (including bank holiday)
- Working hours - 9.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays
