Corporate Solicitor - Associate/Senior Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join a thriving and entrepreneurial Corporate team within a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm. Working directly with experienced team leaders, the successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of strategic corporate clients, advising on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and group development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients on bespoke acquisition and disposal programs, integrating their broader group development strategies.
  • Support clients in creating and implementing playbooks, toolkits, and processes for group development.
  • Partner with an internal client solutions team to devise technology solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Advise on M&A transactions and strategic investments while fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Act as an extension of clients' teams, gaining a deep understanding of their business goals to deliver targeted and effective advice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in corporate law, ready to step into a collaborative and client-focused environment.
  • Experience in M&A and corporate transactions, with a genuine interest in understanding business operations and strategy.
  • Strong rapport-building and communication skills, with the ability to establish trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the team's growth and success.
  • A proactive approach to business development and networking activities to enhance the team's profile.
