Development Solicitor - South EastLocation: London or South EastContract Type: PermanentSalary: £80,000+  Position OverviewAs a Development Solicitor, you will handle large-scale development matters for the group's housebuilder clients. This includes advising on development agreements, conditional contracts, options, joint ventures and collaboration agreements. You'll focus solely on land acquisition and development work, supported by the UK's largest plot sales team as well as specialist litigation, planning and construction lawyers.Responsibilities
  • Advise national and regional housebuilder clients on residential developments up to 6,500 homes
  • Handle land acquisition and large-scale development matters
  • Draft and negotiate development agreements, conditional contracts and options
  • Assist with corporate and contractual joint ventures and collaborations
  • Support housebuilder clients with strategic land projects
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with 4+ PQE
  • Experience in development work for housebuilders advantageous
  • Skilled in commercial property law
  • Passionate about land acquisition and residential development
  • Strong technical skills paired with commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
