The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied and rewarding caseload, working primarily with high-net-worth individuals. The role involves:

  • Drafting complex Wills designed to mitigate inheritance tax (IHT) and protect assets.
  • Advising on estate and succession planning to ensure assets pass to the right people at the right time.
  • Managing probate and estate administration, including high-value and multi-jurisdictional estates.
  • Providing sensitive, practical advice to clients dealing with a death in the family.
  • Assisting elderly clients or their families with specific legal needs, including Lasting Powers of Attorney and deputyships.
  • Advising on trusts and Court of Protection matters to ensure effective asset protection and management.

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Approaches sensitive and challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Is detail-oriented and capable of managing complex and high-value matters.
  • Ideally holds, or is working towards, STEP or SFE accreditation (desirable but not essential).
