Job Title: Residential Property Solicitor

Location: Guildford, Hybrid

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (Depending On experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our dynamic team in Guildford. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a flexible balance between office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of residential property law.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations and searches.
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Handle complex property matters and resolve any issues that arise during the conveyancing process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting residential property transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management systems and other relevant software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
