Logistics Coordinator

ARM are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator on a permanent basis. You will be required to manage and coordinate the transportation of goods via airfreight and ocean freight, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with regulations, and efficient customs clearance.

The Role:

  • Receive customer quotations via varying methods - email / online portal. Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status, resolving issues, and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise with airlines, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and other transportation providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any transportation-related issues
  • Optimize transportation costs by evaluating shipping routes, carrier options, and service levels to achieve the most cost-effective solutions for clients while maintaining service quality.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the airfreight import/export operations, and implement best practices accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Ocean Import, Export and crosstrade
  • Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
  • Pricing and quotation exprience
  • Must be able to build and develop strong relationships with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an eye for detail
