ARM are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator on a permanent basis. You will be required to manage and coordinate the transportation of goods via airfreight and ocean freight.

The Role:

Receive customer quotations via varying methods - email / online portal. Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe.
Liaise with airlines, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and other transportation providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any transportation-related issues
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with airfreight / Oceanfreight shipments, such as delays, damages, or customs disputes
Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the airfreight import/export operations, and implement best practices accordingly.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Ocean Import, Export and crosstrade
Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
Must be able to build and develop strong relationships with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication with an eye for detail
Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills.
