We are working closely with a professional and longstanding Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company based in the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer to join their team. You will be working on longstanding Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, and Social Housing sites, carrying out various water treatment / remedial plumbing duties in line with client needs and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Woking, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Bracknell, Windsor, Slough, Reading, High Wycombe, Abington, Oxford, Bicester, Witney, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Watford.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive experience working as a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Management company.
" Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential to the role.
" Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to update onsite logbooks.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to prioritise workload efficiently.

The Role:
" Conducting cleans and disinfections on CWST and cooling towers.
" TMV install, repairs, replacement and servicing.
" Failsafe testing.
" Closed system sampling, analysis and dosing.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Servicing of CLO2 units.
" Carrying out sampling and analysis on LTHW and CHW systems.
" Deadleg removals.
" Removing, replacing and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.
" Attending site to carry out fault finding, ensuring any faults are rectified in a timely manner.
" Updating onsite logbooks in a timely manner upon completion of work.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guideline.
" Liaising with clients, providing support and advice when required.
