About this Role:

Ambitious/experienced Senior Site Manager required to take the No1 role on a 3.5m new build SEN Block scheme in Surrey. The scheme is secured and due to commence on site shortly.

Reporting to the visiting Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site based construction activities, including some design coordination, mid and short-term programming of works, logistics, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, issue resolution, management of site team including an assistant site managers and engineer, etc, snagging and handover.

About the Company/Client/Project:

The role is with the busy Surrey based office of this larger main contractor group with an annual turnover for the region of circa 40m, and a solid pipeline of work in the Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire area.

Scope of work includes education, commercial, industrial, care/retirement, and leisure sectors.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.

Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.

You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
