Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems for electric vehicles
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed models, drawings, and specifications
- Oversee testing and validation of designs, troubleshooting issues and implementing design improvements
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the automotive or related industry
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
- Knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including battery technology and powertrains, is highly desirable
- Ability to manage projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engineering challenges
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
