The Assistant Building Surveyor's Role
As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals on a variety of public and private sector projects. You'll gain exposure to a diverse workload, including professional and project-based services, with tasks such as conducting surveys, preparing reports, and assisting in design, maintenance, and refurbishment works.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of a range of professional and project-based services.
- Providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of properties.
- Working on projects across multiple sectors, including education, residential, and commercial.
- Collaborating with senior surveyors and engaging directly with clients.
- Advancing through your APC with structured training and mentorship.
The Ideal Assistant Building Surveyor will have
- BSc/MSc in Building Surveying or a RICS-accredited degree.
- Previous experience in a consultancy environment is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and focused on achieving chartered status.
- Eager to learn, self-motivated, and adaptable.
