Locum Practice Nurse Needed in Surrey area
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practice Nurse to support one of our GP surgery that we work with. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in delivering high-quality patient care and a desire to make a real impact in the community.

Location: Guildford
System Used: EMIS
Start Date: February 2025
Duration: Until the end of March 2025
Days Required: 1–2 days per week (flexible)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Hourly Rate: £30–£35 per hour (dependent on experience)
Parking: Onsite parking available
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse to provide temporary cover at our welcoming and supportive GP surgery. This role offers flexible coverage for 1–2 days per week, from February through to the end of March 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality core Practice Nurse services, including:
- General health checks
- Cervical screening (smears)
- Dressings and wound management
- Immunisations and travel vaccinations
- Ensuring patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently
Bonus Skills (Desirable but not Essential):
- Spirometry
- Asthma management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Practice Nurse
- Proficiency with the EMIS system
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
