Nursery Preschool Deputy Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for an existing experienced deputy manager or a Third in charge/ experienced room lead who is looking to take the next step in their career, to assist with the daily managerial duties and lead our lovely nursery preschool.
The nursery caters for children ages 3months -5 years. The ideal candidate will have early years experience, excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be an inspirational leader. :)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of leading and motivating teams (ideal)
- Experience with early years 2+
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working within Nursery / Early Years setting.
- Qualified to Level 3 or above in childcare / Early Years
The Nursery Deputy Managers key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for assisting with the daily running of the nursery / preschool
- Partnership working with parents
- Leading and developing teamwork.
- Working with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages) Curriculum, care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs
- Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child’s individual development in a stimulating atmosphere
- Ensuring developmental records and observations are kept.
- Maintaining staff ratios.
The role is ideally full time working 4 or 5 days per week.
Salary is negotiable, based on experience and qualifications and hours.
