Our client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their successful and fast-growing team in Guildford. The Ideal Office Administrator will have great attention to detail and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administrative tasks.
  • Preparing and processing documents, such as updating the in-house purchasing system, creating and processing invoices, and marking up purchase invoices for payment.
  • Managing stock, including data entry, asset labelling, and collaborating with the IT Manager for support.
  • Documenting processes as needed.
  • Professionally answering and managing telephone inquiries.
  • Welcoming and greeting visitors, ensuring they follow the correct sign-in procedures.
  • Handling the sending and receiving of parcels and mail.
  • Conducting online purchasing, which includes ordering kitchen supplies and office stationery, as well as coordinating onsite catering.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience in admin or office based role ideal but not essential.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner
  • Strong IT proficiency including (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Keen to learn and able to use own initiative
