Hays Marketing are pleased to be working with an automotive retailer based in Guildford who are looking for an experienced Content Creator to join their inhouse marketing team and to take charge of their social media accounts and lead on social media content creation.

The Role

  • Develop, film, and edit high-quality videos, reels, and stories that highlight our vehicles, services, and dealership events.
  • Create visually appealing and compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our target audience.
  • SocialMedia Management, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube
  • Upload and manage content across various social media platforms across the 5 car franchises
  • Schedule and post content regularly to maintain a consistent online presence.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content that will attract and retain followers.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and implement new strategies to increase engagement.
  • ContentTesting & Analysis:
  • Experiment with different content formats to see what resonates best with our audience.
  • Analyse the performance of content through metrics and insights, adjusting strategies to optimise results.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align content with dealership goals and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with external photographers, videographers, and influencers as needed.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role, particularly in video production and social media management.
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere) and graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and produce innovative content.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring a positive, "get up and go" attitude.
  • Passion for cars and the automotive industry is a plus
