Role: Senior Construction Manager
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Salary: 90,000 to 100,000 + car/travel, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays
Our client, a leading cost and project management consultancy is delivering a landmark project in Guildford and they are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join their site based team. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead role on an exciting refurbishment of a listed building where you'll be tasked with taking a hands-on approach to the delivery of the project.
As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be based on site in Guildford and overseeing the entire refurbishment process. You'll be responsible for:
- Managing and coordinating trade contractors, ensuring quality and programme compliance
- Leading site operations and ensuring work is delivered safely and to the highest standards
- Collaborating with the client and specialist consultants to navigate heritage constraints
- Driving progress while maintaining strict cost and programme control

About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on high-profile heritage, conservation, or refurbishment projects
- Strong knowledge of listed building regulations, conservation techniques, and traditional construction methods
- Hands-on Construction Management experience gained from either a PQS or main contracting role
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
