Office and HR Administrator

Job Summary:

Working for a global leader within the heating industry you will be working with the Head of HR and Admin to oversee office operations and provide essential HR support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working collaboratively across multiple departments.

This is an immediate start position due to a handover needing to be completed before 11.02.25.

The hours are 08.00 - 16.30 with 30 mins for lunch and this is a fully office-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth office operations by maintaining inventory levels and managing supplies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, coordinating with external IT support as needed.
  • Maintain and manage key company records, including vehicle fleet documentation, business mobiles, and office equipment.
  • Support the HR team in recruitment efforts, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Organise logistics for new employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
  • Provide administrative support across departments such as Finance, Marketing, SC&P, and Sales.
  • Handle internal and external HR-related queries and requests.
  • Prepare reports on HR activities, including staffing, training, grievances, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate documentation of employee compensation and benefits.
  • Coordinate HR meetings and events, fostering strong communication between employees and management.
  • Promote and oversee workplace health, safety, and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Advise managers and employees on employment laws, policies, and company procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in both digital and physical formats.
  • Process HR documentation and contribute to ongoing improvements in team strategies and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct employee inductions and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Track and report on key HR and business objectives on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Manage relationships with HR and administrative suppliers and contractors.
  • Oversee general office management, including asset tracking, contracts, and insurance policies.
