  • Proactively researching industry regulations and providing in-depth analysis and guidance to the company with respect to these regulations.
  • Overseeing, updating, and developing compliance policies and internal controls, including in the areas of Health & Safety, and Data Protection/GDPR.
  • Providing informed responses to requests in relation to freedom of information and data protection.
  • Managing external client compliance requirements such as vendor registrations and due diligence required for tender submissions.
  • Monitoring exposure to regulatory risk, preparing remedial actions to address issues.
  • Implementing and supporting the provision of staff training on regulatory issues.
  • Managing and developing the KYC process.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory policies, data protection, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the software or technology sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You will need to live within a reasonable daily commute of Guildford, as this is primarily an office-based role.
