Senior Compliance OfficerPermanent Guildford, SurreyUp to £48,519 per annumSummaryMorgan Hunt are currently working with a social housing provider based in Surrey, looking for a talented Senior Compliance Officer to join their team.As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Compliance Team operates seamlessly, unifying diverse disciplines into a cohesive unit and interfacing effectively with the Compliance System. This position requires a highly organised individual who can drive robust compliance testing, manage inspection programmes, and provide comprehensive reporting to key stakeholders.A vital part of your role will be acting as a key liaison between the Compliance Team and the Regulator of Social Housing. You will ensure our organisation's full compliance, demonstrating to stakeholders that we uphold the highest standards in safety for residents, visitors, contractors, and employees.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Compliance System implementation, ensuring integration across compliance disciplines for real-time accuracy.
  • Develop standardised agendas, action logs, and performance monitoring across compliance contracts.
  • Produce reports, agendas, and action plans for regulatory meetings, demonstrating compliance achievements.
  • Provide direct support to the Compliance Manager and contract managers, helping manage routine and strategic tasks to ensure contractual adherence.
  • Monitor key compliance data and certification in collaboration with contractors and internal teams to maintain timely reporting.

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements within social housing, with a proven track record of managing multi-discipline compliance functions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; adept at learning new systems and technologies swiftly.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to represent the Compliance Team professionally to senior management, stakeholders, and regulators.
  • Effective at problem-solving, proactive task management, and prioritisation under deadlines.
  • A-Level or equivalent experience; evidence of commitment to professional development (CPD).
  • Extensive experience in a high-level compliance role within a regulated environment, preferably social housing.
