The school are seeking a Primary Teacher to work with Year 7 students who are working at a primary level due to their SEMH needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, and they are looking for a strong, empathetic teacher who can manage behaviour effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
About the Role:
- Temp-Perm contract
- Teaching Year 7 students with SEMH needs, working at a primary academic level
- Delivering creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning plans
- Managing challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and other educators to ensure each child's holistic development
- Aiming to transition into a permanent role after the initial temporary contract
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a primary or SEN setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Experience or willingness to work with students with SEMH needs
- Passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable students
- Available to start immediately
