The school are seeking a Primary Teacher to work with Year 7 students who are working at a primary level due to their SEMH needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, and they are looking for a strong, empathetic teacher who can manage behaviour effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

About the Role:

  • Temp-Perm contract
  • Teaching Year 7 students with SEMH needs, working at a primary academic level
  • Delivering creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning plans
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and other educators to ensure each child's holistic development
  • Aiming to transition into a permanent role after the initial temporary contract

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a primary or SEN setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience or willingness to work with students with SEMH needs
  • Passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable students
  • Available to start immediately
