A temporary 1:1 Tutor position is available in Guildford, Surrey, starting ASAP and offering 1-6 hours of work per day, five days a week during school hours only.
The pay rate for this role ranges from £25 to £35 per hour, and candidates must be available for up to 30 hours per week during term time.
Applicants should have at least 2 years of previous teaching experience within a UK school, preferably with a background in English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes from KS1 to KS5.
Candidates must also possess QTS status (or equivalent) or be unqualified with two years' experience in teaching National Curriculum core subjects, along with experience in dealing with complex needs such as SEMH and ASC.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
