Our client is going from strength to strength. They are currently looking for a Plant Supervisor for their newly acquired site in Guildford. As Plant Supervisor you will be responsible for liaising with customers and ensuring orders are correctly produced to their differentiating requirements, as well as coordinating fleet to ensure deliveries are fulfilled.

Plant Supervisors are strong ambassadors of the business and therefore our client is seeking a self-motivated and confident communicator.

Plant Supervisor Duties;

  • We seek a self-motivated, reliable individual who is capable of working with their own initiative. Acting as the main point of contact and representative for our busy concrete plant, liaising with our customers face to face and via the telephone.
  • The role involves producing concrete in line with quality standards to meet customer expectations, solving any queries or issues that may arise during the working day, to ensure our customers receive a first-class service and that we are their supplier of choice.
  • Co-ordination of fleet requirements in order to optimise utilisation.
  • Responsible for managing stock controls, supervising the safety, health and environment standards on site, housekeeping of all the plant and equipment.

Plant Supervisor Requirements;

  • A confident communicator with a clear understanding for customer requirements and satisfaction.
  • Full training can be given in the form of in-house training and external qualifications, although experience in the concrete/construction industry and driving a loading shovel would be advantageous.
  • Basic PC skills are required.
