Our client is undergoing an exciting period of growth and because of this they are looking to add a Project Manager to their already successful office based team.

Reporting to the Senior Estimator and working alongside a small team you will handle multiple projects from the point of order through to completion. Projects will be a mix of small and large scale working with clients including architects, installers, estate managers and NHS trusts.

This is an established building products manufacturer within the commercial interiors new build and refurbishment marketsfocused on public sector projects.

The role is office based role with occasionaltrips to sites across the UK but mainly in the South. Due to the location of the office applicants could commute from the Surrey, Hampshire or Berkshire areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating project information received from the sales team to check technical compatibility from both a manufacturing and accreditation perspective.
  • Taking ownership of individual projects and targets.
  • Working closely with clients and colleagues to agree and finalise project details and to be the central point of contact.
  • Compile manufacturing schedules / drawings for client approval.
  • Liaising with clients by email, phone, video calls and occasionally site meetings to discuss project details and answer questions.
  • Completing job sheets to produce goods and liaise with suppliers and the internal production team for the procurement of raw materials om a job basis.
  • Liaising with production department to hand over client specific deadlines and manage expectations.

To apply for this position you need to be able to manage and track multiple projects, have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.

Additionally, you need to have careful attention to detail, be able to work individually and as part of a team and cope under pressure while providing an excellent standard of customer care.

Experience of Excel and 2D CAD software and previous experience within a manufacturing or the construction products sector would be an advantage but full training will be given.
