We are seeking an aspiring Clinical Psychologist to work in schools, supporting students' emotional and psychological needs. This role goes beyond traditional learning support—it’s a stepping stone into the world of educational psychology, child development, and mental health interventions.
About the Role:As a Learning Support Aspiring Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in fostering positive mental health in schools. You will work closely with educators, parents, and students to develop tailored interventions that promote emotional resilience, social skills, and academic success. Your role will include:

Supporting students with a range of emotional and psychological needs, including anxiety, behavioral challenges, and neurodivergent conditions.

Assisting in the implementation of well-being programs and interventions.

Collaborating with school staff, mental health professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Observing and assessing students' behavior to contribute to psychological reports and intervention planning.

Encouraging a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.

Essential:

A degree in Psychology (or related field) OR a strong passion for mental health initiatives.

Experience working with young people in an educational, mentoring, or care setting.

Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable:

Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), mental health conditions, or behavioral difficulties.

Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Experience with intervention programs such as CBT-based strategies, emotional literacy support, or mindfulness techniques.
