Were looking for a skilledControl Systems Engineer to develop and implement control systems for their electric vehicle LV and HV systems. This is a hands-on role, where youll work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop model-based software using Simulink for embedded systems.
  • Implement and test Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) frameworks.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate control systems with electric powertrains and chassis.
  • Troubleshoot and test control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges with efficient solutions.

Key Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience in model-based software development (Simulink).
  • Strong understanding of control theory and automotive control systems.
  • Experience with ECU calibration, CAN Bus tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer), and HIL/MIL testing.
  • Familiarity with fault-finding tools (e.g., oscilloscopes).
  • Knowledge of high voltage systems and electric vehicle architectures is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive control systems development.
  • Right to work in the UK.
