Our established client based in Guildford are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work closely with their Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up new supplier and expense accounts.
- Code and post invoices/expenses to nominals
- Pay invoices/expenses when due.
- Complete office account bank reconciliation.
- Assist Management Accountant with analysis of nominals and other reconciliations.
- Deal with email and telephone queries.
- Authorisation of payments for cashiers.
- There is also potential to become involved with managing month-end prepayments and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Experience within an accounts department
- Conscientiousness
- Organised
- Ability to prioritise
- Self-starter
- Self-confidence
- 2-3 years purchase ledger experience
- Attention to detail
- Confident telephone manner
- Microsoft outlook/excel confident
- General IT literacy
- Purchase ledger in a professional environment
- Previous experience of Xero accounting software
