Grafton Banks Finance are working with a well-respected commercial company with offices in Guildford, Surrey to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full-time initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager and working within a friendly team your job is to provide financial support with a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable and Billings. You will be proactive, flexible, and adaptable. You will be happy to work in a fast-paced environment and look forward to a challenge.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Banking and reconciliations
- Manage foreign currency accounts
- Intercompany loan accounts - reconciliation and postings
- Credit card and petty cash reconciliation, allocation, and postings
- Chasing payments and reconciling accounts
- Supporting with data cleansing and project support
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years practical working experience within Accountancy and Finance. You will have strong IT skills including Excel and Accounting Software alongside strong communication skills and analytical skills to be able to manipulate data. You will need to be a strong team player as well as working on own accord with excellent organisational skills and time management.
