We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Maths Cover Teacher to join our vibrant and high-achieving team at our secondary school. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about mathematics and education, and eager to contribute to the development of students by enhancing their mathematical skills.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring maths lessons on Wednesdays during the Summer term.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the varied needs and interests of students.
• Encourage analytical thinking and problem-solving skills among students, while teaching mathematical concepts and applications.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress in maths, focusing on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate maths into a broader educational context.
• Participate in school events and initiatives, showcasing the importance of maths in everyday life.
• Maintain a dynamic and inspiring classroom environment that stimulates learning and curiosity.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Maths.
• Experience teaching Maths at various levels, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to appreciate and excel in Maths.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Creative and dynamic approach to teaching and curriculum planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
