Salary: Surrey Fringe MPS/UPS plus TLR2 and SEN Allowance 2,679 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team just outside Guildford. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is eager to lead and inspire students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Science Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Develop and implement an engaging science curriculum for KS3 and KS4 students.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, providing targeted support to help them achieve their full potential.

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and enthusiasm for science.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Support and mentor other teachers within the department, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Proven track record of delivering excellent results and improving student outcomes.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
