Our client is a national FM Service Provider who are recruiting for an Electrical Manager to lead the team of electrical engineers working on a Hospital in Surrey. In the role of Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

The role of Electrical Manager:

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.

Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with values.

Impact the quality of own work.

Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

The person spec:

Electrical technical qualifications with proven supervisory/management experience

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

Experience with analysing information and standard practices to make judgments.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
