Support Worker

We Urgently Recruitng for support workers to sart as soon as possible .

Job Purpose:
To provide compassionate, practical, and emotional support to young mothers and their babies, helping them develop parenting skills, maintain wellbeing, and achieve independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trusting relationships with young mothers and their children.
• Provide one-to-one support, including parenting advice and life skills training.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks such as feeding, hygiene, and routines for babies.
• Support access to education, healthcare, housing, and social services.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for families.
• Monitor and report on progress, challenges, and safeguarding concerns.
• Facilitate group activities, workshops, or peer-support sessions.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, families, or vulnerable groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child development and parenting challenges.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality practices.
• Ability to remain patient, non-judgmental, and empathetic.
• Relevant qualifications in social care or childcare (preferred).
