Office based
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday

Salary: £25k - 35k (dependant on experience)

As a member of the pension administration team, you will handle all aspects of pension scheme administration throughout the entire member lifecycle. You'll collaborate with the pod consultant as needed, preparing reports, creating illustrations, and delivering a high level of client-focused service.

Duties Include

Admin Assistant:

  • Verify application details with the new business team.
  • Set up pension schemes and manage client data.
  • Sort mail and update database records accurately.
  • Draft standard client communications and maintain task schedules.
  • Archive correspondence and handle client calls.
  • Print reports as needed and assist with other tasks to support office operations.

Administrator:

  • Coordinate with new business and technical teams to verify application details.
  • Set up new pension schemes accurately and on time.
  • Update and manage client data, transactions, and assets.
  • Provide prompt, professional communication with clients, IFAs, and Investment Managers.
  • Process benefit crystallisations, payroll, and HMRC reporting.
  • Maintain database records and prepare standard client correspondence.
  • Complete due diligence checks and manage administrative task schedules.
  • Support the pension consultant and attend client meetings as needed.

Skills Required

  • Some Financial background (not for assistant role)
  • Ability to multi task, planning own workload to meet business requirements.
  • Numerate, with good Microsoft Office skills
  • CII exams qualifications or the willingness to study towards certificate level (not for assistant role)
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
