Paying up to 35,000 (based on experience) plus 28 days holiday, private medical, income protection, life assurance, generous pension, bonus scheme, career progression and much more!
Office based, 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday, possibility to work from home after 6 months
Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join a leading regional law firm with a strong reputation based in the heart of Guildford! Our client is seeking a Legal Support Team Leader to join their Commercial Dispute Resolution department in Guildford.
As the Legal Support Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Dispute Resolution Partner and assisting with the smooth functioning of the department.
Duties Include:
- Administering files, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving per firm procedures
- Accurately recording information in the practise management system
- Drafting letters, documents, and forms using dictation
- Managing daily diaries and tracking key dates and follow-ups
- Overseeing a team of 5 secretaries, ensuring efficient and high-quality support for Solicitors and the broader team
- Coordinating work across the secretarial team, managing resources to cover absences and high workloads.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in Dispute Resolution or Civil Litigation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
- Some experience in a management or team leadership role
