We are seeking a Senior Automation Developer to join our innovative startup team. This role is crucial for the development, testing, and operational deployment of robotic automation solutions and products. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, internal customers, and colleagues to deliver the strategic goals of the company. You will also play a mentorship role, providing support and guidance to junior developers.

Day-to-day Responsibilities & Duties of the Role:

  • Support and mentor junior automation developers, fostering their learning and development.
  • Manage a variety of automation projects to deliver top-tier products.
  • Peer-review automation structures, code, and workflows to ensure best practices.
  • Seek regular feedback to ensure continuous personal and professional development.
  • Assist in assessing the technical feasibility of automation candidates.
  • Contribute to As-Is, To-Be, and solution design documentation.
  • Maintain automation operating models and governance frameworks.
  • Identify and communicate technical infrastructure and architecture requirements.
  • Deliver projects in line with playbooks, ensuring timely progress and risk management.
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios for user acceptance testing.
  • Support deployment and go-live activities.
  • Define solution change requests and updated designs.
  • Develop reusable automation components with business process owners.
  • Contribute to the development of automation playbooks and practices.
  • Engage in periodic training and certifications relevant to the role.

Core Technical Requisites:

  • Proficient in the latest version of UiPath and ‘Modern Automation’.
  • UiPath certifications: Developer Foundations, Advanced Developer, Enterprise Framework, Solution Architecture.
  • Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework.
  • Strong programming skills in VB.NET, with C# or Python being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in automating complex business processes and application integration via APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and database integration.
  • Familiarity with version control using GIT and secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of Orchestrator administration for bot scheduling, monitoring, and access control.

Technically Advantageous:

  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros or Visual Basic scripts.
  • Experience with additional scripting or programming languages (Java, C, C#, Python, .Net).
  • Understanding of workflow logic and the ability to conceptualise business processes as automated solutions.
