Sonic Summary

The position available is for a 1:1 Tutor located in Guildford, Surrey, with an ASAP start and ongoing temporary contract.
Candidates are expected to work between 1 to 6 hours per day, five days a week, during school hours, and the pay rate ranges from £18 to £23 per hour.
Applicants should have at least two years of experience teaching National Curriculum core subjects and working with students with complex needs such as SEMH and ASC.
A QTS status or equivalent qualification is required, along with a strong background in teaching English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes from KS1 to KS5.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
