A lovely primary school in Waltham Forest are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to provide support within their nurture room.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in the nurture room, you will be providing 1 to 1 support for various pupils with Autism. Many of the students are non-verbal so previous experience with Makaton and alternative communication methods is preferable. Children in the nurture room are mixed ages from reception to year 6.
