We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and committed English Teacher to join the team at a special school based in the Guildford area. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging, inclusive, and creative English curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students.
This special school caters for students aged 10 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified needs. The school is based in the beautiful Surrey countryside and offers significant opportunities for outdoor learning.

What we need you to do:
- Develop a supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, respect, and a growth mindset
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Use innovative approaches to help students with SEMH needs overcome barriers to learning and achieve their best outcomes
Key requirements for the role:
- Teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent classroom practice/presence
- Enthusiasm and drive for working in a SEMH School
