We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our clients dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities - Speech and Language Therapist - Guilford

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic care and support.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide training and advice to teachers, carers, and other support staff.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and treatment.

Requirements- Speech and Language Therapist- Guilford

  • A relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience in assessing and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders (experience with children or adults, or both, is desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience with a range of therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in the field.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
