Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor – Surrey
No experience needed - just a can-do attitide and a passion for Education!
Always Flourishing are working with several excellent Secondary Schools across Surrey.
These schools are looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidates with a strong sports background, to cover PE lessons, as well as general cover.
Cover supervisors are responsible for supervising pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises and to manage a classroom, ensuring that pupils remain on task with the work they have been set. This is a highly rewarding, and challenging role. The School looking for individuals who are supportive, non-judgmental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them.
Full lesson plannning and objectives will be provided. No planning, preparation and/or marking and assesment is required.
This role is ideal for sports coaches and graduates who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience before applying for teacher training. Supply teaching is also great for work/life balance!
School hours are 8.30 am to 3.15pm, during term time. ___________________________________________________________________
About the Cover Supervisor Position:
** Supervising pupils and ensuring a positive learning environment.
** No marking, planning or preparation – cover work is provided for you.
** Covering PE lessons as well as general cover.
** A head start before applying for teacher training.

The Successful Cover Supervisor will have/be:
** Ability to build positive relationships with students.
** GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent functional skills in English and Maths
** Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.

To be Eligible the Cover Supervisor must have/be:
** Relevant experience (Degree preferable but not essential )
** Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.
** The ability to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.
** Hold a fully enhanced DBS certificates (child workforce only) that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete one.
