Mobile Maintenance Handyperson / Fabric Technician
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Location: Covering Guildford area (GU Postcode)
Hours of Work: Mon – Fri, 8am - 5pm
A fantastic opportunity to a large Engineering Maintenance Service provider who are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Handyperson/Fabric Technician to work on a commercial/retail contract covering sites across the Guildford and surrounding local areas. This is a permanent position paying a salary of £32,000 per annum with a company vehicle, fuel card etc. Working Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. With fantastic opportunities for career progression.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out general building repair and maintenance
- Changing of locks, door closures and other door furniture
- Basic plumbing and small leak repairs
- Small painting, decoration and making good Fitting of carpet tiles
- To apply relevant trade skills to carry out reactive maintenance standards
- Ensure health and safety of sites are met to regulation standards
- L8 works are required on site
Candidate requirements;
- Proven experience - working within general building and maintenance repairs
- Relevant trade qualifications, such as City & Guilds / BTEC National Diploma / NVQ 2 in a trade or Building Maintenance Carpentry & Joinery/ is preferred.
- Essential to have excellent client facing skills
- Must have Full UK Clean Driving licence
