Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Guildford.

Role Overview:

As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, in Guildford, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You will utilise your technical expertise and advanced diagnostic skills to identify and rectify complex vehicle faults efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise diagnostic equipment and software to accurately identify vehicle faults
Perform advanced diagnostics on engine management systems, ABS, and other electronic systems
Repair and maintain a variety of light commercial vehicles
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

Level 3 NVQ/IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
At least 2 years' experience as a Diagnostic Technician or a Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills in the Automotive Industry
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Full UK driving license
