An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Technician to join one of the leading compliance contractors in the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a company that value their staff and offer genuine job security and progression.

The role will involve traveling around the region undertaking various tasks to ensure water hygiene standards are kept to an excellent level.

Key Accountabilities:

* At all times ensure priority is given for the Health and Safety of colleagues, contractors and members of the public whilst carrying out job related tasks.
* To portray a professional image to the client at all times.
* Adhere to all company policy and processes.
* To complete all documentation and registers prior to signing in on arrival at site.
* Carry out 6 monthly review of sites.
* Carry out and complete site specific Legionella risk assessment review reports.
* Inspect cold water storage tanks.
* Appropriately sample CWST's, cold outlets and hot water systems.
* To carry out the cleaning and chlorination of cold water storage tanks and their associated down systems.
* That the cleaning and chlorination task is generally undertaken outside normal store trading hours, to minimise risk to staff and members of the public.
* To ensure correct paperwork is completed during site visits.
* Report any non-compliance with water regulations.
* Any remedial work required is reported through company process and procedures.
* Line management is updated on a daily basis.
* Sufficient notice is given to line manager for the ordering of water hygiene spares and consumables, cleaning chemicals and replacement equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Descaling of shower head and hoses.
* TMV servicing
* Tank cleans and inspections
* Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers
* Mains injection pipework chlorination works
