Technical specialist

Scientific Technical Specialist, field support - Permanent – South East territory - Salary dependent upon experience.

Do you have a scientific background and experience in Maintenance or validation of lab equipment?  Would you like to take a step away from the lab and take on a role that involves more client interaction?  If this sounds like you then please read on.

I am currently recruiting for a quality individual to join a Global organisation covering their customers sites in the South East of England.  The role involves working with customers and responding to any complaints or quality issues as well as conducting validations and emergency repairs.  You will have responsibility for tracking any deviations in quality and ensuring that corrective action plans are in place.  You will also have high visibility within the organisation and will support sales and manufacturing with any technical issues where necessary.

In order to be successful for this role you should have experience in the following:

- Validating lab equipment

- Excellent communication skills

- Scientific degree or similar experience working in a laboratory environment

- Solving technical problems

This position will also involve travelling between client sites therefore you will need to be able to drive and there may be the possibility of occasional overnight stays.
