We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to join an 'Outstanding' ESTYN-rated primary school in Cardiff as a Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working both 1:1 and in small groups to engage them in their learning.
  • Assist the class teacher with daily tasks and prepare for the day ahead.
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks.
  • Undertake general administrative duties.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the school's positive culture and ethos.
  • Be passionate about delivering the best educational experience to children.

What We're Looking For:

  • An enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for education.
  • An interest in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively and positively.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A good standard of education (GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT proficiency.
  • Ability to speak Welsh (preferred, but not essential).
