Robert Half is collaborating with a prominent FTSE 100 company to hire a Senior Project Accountant for their office located in Glasgow. This is a great role to be part of a large infrastructure project in Scotland. For the right candidate, this role offers:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Produce accurate and timely project financial information.
  • Maintain robust financial controls throughout the project.
  • Maximise the efficiency of processes and reporting systems.
  • Uphold strong corporate governance standards.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager, Project, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve and maintain processes supporting the financial performance of the project.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation with all relevant Alliance stakeholders to ensure smooth financial and reporting operations.
  • Represent the interests of the parent company, effectively managing relationships with joint venture stakeholders as well as key suppliers and customers.
  • Step in for the Senior Finance Manager when necessary, ensuring seamless management of the project's financial operations in their absence.
  • Ensure compliance with project target costs by maintaining strict oversight and promoting rigorous financial discipline.

Requirements:

  • Must hold ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, or ICAS.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills at all organisational levels.
  • Strong skills in business and process analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
